WHAT IS THE MINIMUM CONTRIBUTION AMOUNT?

Everyone should be able to give according to their own means and needs, so the minimum contribution is set at 1 euro.

TO WHOM WILL THE DONATIONS BE ALLOCATED, AND HOW WILL THEY BE DIVIDED?

The proceeds from the donations will be divided equally between the Voices of Children Foundation and the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, regardless of the amount collected.

WHAT IS THE WALK TO KYIV CAMPAIGN?

Walk to Kyiv is literally a 500-kilometer walk organized by Kevin Carboni, Giulia Romani and Raffaele Pecoraro across the E373 from the Polish border to Kyiv to raise funds to support Ukraine. Our goal is to reach 1 million euros, which will be evenly divided between the Voices of Children Foundation, dedicated to providing psychological assistance to Ukrainian children, and the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, managing various projects to equip schools and hospitals with photovoltaic panels to ensure their functioning during Russian bombardment-induced blackouts.

If we successfully achieve our campaign's objective, Energy Act for Ukraine will be able to provide solar energy to 5 hospitals or 10 schools. Each hospital requires 100,000 euros, while each school needs 50,000 euros. Meanwhile, Voices of Children will strengthen its network of psychologists across Ukraine to assist the youth forced to live in constant fear of bombings, far from their families, and help bring back those who were illegally deported to Russia.

We decided to launch this fundraising campaign simply because we felt the need to support our Ukrainian friends, whom we met when Kevin Carboni, who will be walking to Kyiv, spent his Erasmus exchange period at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2018. The reason we chose a mental health organization and a renewable energy one is because we witnessed the effects of the war on both our friends' mental health and the environment.

States and governments must continue to support Ukraine with military aid to allow it to win its fight against russian imperialism. However, individuals who have felt powerless in the face of these events can contribute in their own small way to help Ukraine's population, without needing to buy weaponry. Supporting psychological assistance and the creation of sustainable development means taking part in the fight against reactionism and conservatism embodied by russia, to help build for a better future and a better world, where people like the Wagner criminals and their puppet masters are just a dark memory of the past.
